The city government of Malabon has shortened its curfew hours, citing the looser general community quarantine (GCQ) currently in place in Metro Manila, even as it warned residents that the threat of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) remains.

Under City Ordinance No. 13-2020 signed on June 22 and now in effect, curfew hours have been cut from the earlier 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. to between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Exemption

Those exempted from the ordinance are residents going to and coming from work at night or within curfew hours, provided that they present proof of employment.
