WATCH: How will Philippine tourism recover after the COVID-19 pandemic?

The tourism sector is one of the hardest, if not the hardest-hit sector by the coronavirus pandemic. The pandemic has not only affected the country’s economy, but it has also caused the loss of thousands of jobs in the tourism sector.

In this interview, Department of Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat discusses with INQUIRER.net reporter Neil Arwin Mercado the government’s plans moving forward to recover from the pandemic, including plans to allow foreign tourists from virus-free countries to visit select tourist spots here.
