Romblon exec found dead with stab wounds at home

SAN PEDRO CITY –– A board member in Romblon province was found dead with multiple stab wounds at his home in Odiongan town, Saturday.

Robert Maulion, 58, sustained multiple stab wounds and bruises, as his body was discovered in his residence on the 4th floor of Rose Petals building in Barangay Tabing Dagat around 9:30 a.m.

Lieutenant Colonel Imelda Tolentino, spokesperson of the Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan police, said a building tenant went to the local police and reported the incident.

Police are conducting an investigation.

The report said Maulion was last seen alive around 9 p.m. Friday when he arrived home from Romblon, Romblon.

Odiongan Mayor Trina Firmalo-Fabic, in a Facebook post, vowed to help the authorities in giving justice to the local official.
