Suspected drug dealer nabbed in Makati

MANILA, Philippines – A suspected dealer of illegal drugs at the Laperal Compound in Makati City was nabbed by authorities Tuesday while another “target” escaped.

Froilan delos Santos was one of two persons who allegedly monopolized the sale of methamphetamine hydrochloride “shabu” in the compound, said Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency—Metro Manila Regional Office (PDEA-MMRO) director Wilkins Villanueva.

PDEA agents have been keeping a close watch on the targets, with surveillance spanning roughly one month before they decided to raid the area, said Villanueva.

Authorities are still hunting down the second target.
