2 drug suspects nabbed in Camarines Sur

LEGAZPI CITY –– Two suspected drug personalities were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Camarines Sur on Monday night.

Colonel Roderico Roy Jr., director of Camarines Sur police, said in a report that Rommel Bariso, 33, was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Vicente in Milaor town at 7:45 p.m.

Recovered from Bariso, included in drug watchlist, were two sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth).

In Nabua town, Renato Almasco, 55, was caught in a search operation in Barangay La Opinion at around 6:20 p.m.

Seized were six sachets of shabu, 105 live ammunition for caliber 5.56, a magazine for caliber 9 mm with 11 reload ammunition, and live ammunition for a shotgun.

Almasco was also listed in the database of drug personalities in the said town.
