Quezon COVID-19 watch: 3 patients recover, 1 new case listed in Lucena
LUCENA CITY — Three COVID-19 patients in Quezon province have recovered while a new case was listed in Lucena City, health authorities reported on Saturday afternoon.
In its 5 p.m. bulletin, the Quezon Public Information Office (QPIO), citing the latest record from the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO), traced two of the recuperated patients to Candelaria town and another one from this city.
However, a new COVID-19 patient was also found in Lucena, the capital city of the province.
Quezon, now under general community quarantine, has 108 confirmed COVID-19 cases in its record. At least 77 of the patients have recovered, but nine others had died.
The province now has a total of 22 active virus carriers.
Lucena logged a total of 47 COVID-19 cases. At least 31 of the 47 patients have recovered, bringing the number of active virus carriers to 16.
