Authorized AMO course

The Philippine Constructors Association (PCA), Marikina Valley Chapter, in cooperation with the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB), will be hosting the two-day Authorized Managing Officers (AMO) Course on Feb. 3-4, 2012, at the Marikina Convention Center in Marikina City.

Registration fees are P3,000 for PCA members, P3,500 for non-PCA members and P4,000 for on-site registration (PCA or non-PCA members). The AMO Course completion is now a requirement for the release of every contactor’s PCAB license registration, whether renewal or original issuance.

The 16-hour AMO Course will cover laws and regulations pertinent to the construction industry on the National Building Code, the Labor Code, the Government Procurement Reform Act, the Internal Revenue Code, the Build-Operate Transfer Law and the Local Government Code.
