CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—The military said soldiers seized two Armalite rifles in a supposed hideout in Bulacan province of New People’s Army (NPA) rebels operating in Southern Luzon.

Soldiers and policemen found four magazines and ammunition for assault rifles at a house of an alleged communist cadre at the village of Paradise III, San Jose del Monte City last May 22.

The seized items were believed to belong to the Rizal-Bulacan Guerrilla Front of the NPA Southern Tagalog, according to Col. Felix Valdez, 48th Infantry Battalion commander, in a statement.
