Fair Thursday weather likely across PH, save for Batanes, Babuyan Group of Islands
MANILA, Philippines — A generally fair weather may be expected all over the country despite isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, as well as overcast skies due to frontal systems in the extreme northern Luzon.
This was the state weather bureau’s forecast in its 5 p.m. bulletin on Wednesday, adding that stationary front or the combination of hot and cold winds near Taiwan will bring clouds near Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) also said easterlies will continue to bring warm winds from the Pacific Ocean to the country’s landmass, especially those on the eastern portion, although thunderstorms may still occur by afternoon and night.
Meanwhile, Pagasa said that it has not monitored any low-pressure area inside or outside the Philippine area of responsibility.
For Thursday, Pagasa said the temperature in Metro Manila will range from 27°C to 35°C and 27°C to 34°C degrees on Friday. In Cebu and Davao, weather may also be warm on Thursday as temperatures may reach between 28°C and 32°C and 25°C to 33°C, respectively.
Fisherfolk and other people using small boats can set sail, according to Pagasa, since no gale warning has been raised and because sea conditions across the country will be light to moderate.
