Expat in Dasmariñas Village scuffle with ECQ cop slapped with assault, other raps
MANILA, Philippines – The Makati Police has already filed a complaint against the Spanish citizen residing in Dasmariñas Village in Makati who resisted arrest after he was accused of violating the enhanced quarantine rules.
Javier Salvador Parra is slapped with complaints for direct assault, resistance and disobedience to a person in authority under Article 151 of the Revised Penal Code, violation of Republic Act 11332 or the Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Health Concern Act and violating the city ordinance for not wearing a face mask.
The complaint sheet showed Senior Master Sergeant Roland Von M. Madrona as the complainant. He was the police officer who tried to fine Parra with P1,000 after their housemaid was seen watering their plants outside the house without a face mask.
Meanwhile, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) is already checking on the immigration status of Parra.
“It is too early to release details from our side but yes, his status is something we’re also looking into,” Immigration spokesperson Dana Sandoval said.
