Man who sold P500 in meth killed in Sorsogon

LEGAZPI CITY — A drug suspect was killed and two others were arrested in separate operations in the provinces of Sorsogon and Camarines Sur on Monday (April 27).

In Sorsogon, Leopoldo Sanches II, died in what police said was a gunfight in the town of Prieto Diaz.

Col. Roque Bausa, Sorsogon police chief, said in a report that undercover agents bought P500 in shabu, or crystal meth, from Sanches.

In Camarines Sur, Ronnie Tulay, 41, was arrested in an operation in Pamplona town, said Col. Roderico Roy Jr., Camarines Sur police chief.

Operatives seized four small sachets of meth from Tulay.

In another operation, suspect Jeason Zaballa, 32, was arrested in Iriga City. Seized from him was a sachet of meth.
