Three more police officials to be promoted—PNP chief

MANILA, Philippines—Three more police officials are lined up for promotion following that of the fourth in command of the Philippine National Police, PNP chief Director General Raul Bacalzo said Monday.

After the promotion of PNP Chief Directorial Staff Director Nicanor Bartolome, who took oath as a Deputy Director General Monday, Bacalzo said three more police officials will be promoted.

The PNP chief named those to be promoted as Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) director Chief Superintendent Samuel Pagdilao Jr., National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) director Chief Superintendent Alan Purisima and Police Security and Protection Group (PSPG) director Chief Superintendent Lina Sarmiento.
