Frontliner in hospital is Valenzuela’s new COVID-19 case

MANILA, Philippines — One resident, who is a frontliner at a hospital in Valenzuela City, was infected with the coronavirus disease, bringing the total number of cases to 42.

In a post from the city government on Saturday, the latest COVID-19 case, dubbed VC42 is a 49-year-old man.

Also, the Valenzuela City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit reported that the number of recovered patients remained at three while the number of deaths due to COVID-19 was still at four.

The city government also documented 242 persons under investigation or what the Department of Health (DOH) classified as “suspect.”
