Did You Know: Transport, storage sector has 2,860 establishments

According to the final results of the 2016 Annual Survey of the Philippine Business and Industry recently released by the Philippine Statistics Authority, there were 2,860 establishments in the transportation and storage sector.

This sector includes passenger or freight transport, whether scheduled or not, by rail, pipeline, road, water or air and associated activities such as terminal and parking facilities, cargo handling, storage, etc.

It also includes the renting of transport equipment with driver or operator, and postal and courier activities.
