/ 06:57 AM January 10, 2012

The tough terrain in the mountainous part of barangay Mulao in Liloan town, northern Cebu, will be the venue for the fifth leg of the Columbia Eco Trail Run on Feb. 5.

Race director Ralph Pilapil and technical director Hilario Honoridez said the demands of Cebuano runners led them to discover the Mulao trail, which is 14 kilometers away from the Liloan town proper.

The entire trail stretches a total of 12.6 kilometers. Runners will have to go through two rivers, a mountain,  large boulders, a hanging bridge and a muddy trail.
