Bataan COVID-19 cases rise to 10

BALANGA CITY, Bataan–Three more patients in this capital city were tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Sunday (March 29), bringing to 10 the total number of COVID-19 cases in the province, local officials said.

The provincial health office has listed City Administrator Rudy de Mesa among the new cases. De Mesa died of COVID-19 on Friday (March 27) while confined in a Pampanga hospital.

A 58-year-old government employee, who had worked closely with De Masa, was among the three new cases along with a 62-year-old woman who is now confined in  a hospital in Subic Bay Freeport.
