MANILA, Philippines—A 14-year-old out-of-school youth was killed Saturday evening in San Andres, Manila, in a drive-by shooting incident.

Julius Cesar Venzon, of 4 Osmeña Highway, San Andres, was shot from a moving green taxi, witnesses told the Manila Police District. He sustained a single gunshot wound.

Venzon was standing with a friend at the corner of Osmeña Highway and Vito Cruz when a gunshot rang out from a passing taxi with no plate number. The bullet hit Venzon on the right side of his torso.
