Camarines Norte designates 2 ‘isolation areas’ for PUIs

LEGAZPI CITY – The local government of Camarines Norte has designated two “isolation areas” for the high risk and medium risk persons under investigation (PUI).

In an executive order, Governor Edgardo Tallado said the official isolation area would be the evacuation area located in Barangay (village) Mat-I Sto. Domingo in Vinzons town and the infirmary hospital in Maybato in Paracale town.

The provincial health office was directed to assign the necessary personnel, equipment and other supplies in the area.

All hospitals were also directed to plan and prepare for isolation rooms in case of large community transmission.

Towns and barangays should also provide constituents with 24/7 hotlines to report possible COVID-19 cases.
