Cagayan De Oro City to host NSPC 2021
MANILA, Philippines — The City of Cagayan De Oro in the province of Misamis Oriental of Region 10 will host the next edition of the National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) in 2021.
The Department of Education- Tuguegarao City’s official newsletter The Bridge revealed this on Friday after the city concluded its hosting of this year’s weeklong NSPC which ran from March 9-13.
The NSPC is an annual gathering of the best and the brightest campus journalists in the country who will lock horns on different journalistic contests, both in writing and broadcasting.
Outstanding school newspapers, campus scribes, and student paper advisers will also be adjudged in the event dubbed as the “Olympics of campus journalism.”
NSPC is being culminated yearly by the DepEd in pursuant to Republic Act no. 7079 also known as the Campus Journalism Act of 1991.
