Woman arrested for P1.8 M worth of ecstasy tablets

Customs agents at Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Thursday arrested a woman who claimed two parcels containing P1.8 million worth of ecstasy tablets at the Central Mail Exchange Center in Pasay City.

Arrested was Kim Fuentes, a resident of Manansala Tower, Rockwell Drive, Makati City, who claimed two parcels from Leusden, Utrecht province, Netherlands, on Feb. 27 that were declared as “bags of candy.” —Jerome Aning
