Did You Know: 18,136 dengue cases noted in Metro Manila Jan-Aug 2019
Metro Manila accounted for 18,136 of the 271,480 dengue cases reported nationwide from January to August 2019, the Department of Health said.
The figure was 25% higher compared to the 14,476 cases reported in the region during the same period in 2018.
The regions with the highest number of reported cases during the period were Western Visayas with 45,345 cases and Calabarzon with 39,810 cases.
