5 drug pushers fall in Quezon stings
LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested five suspected drug pushers in buy-bust operations in Candelaria, Tiaong, and Infanta towns in Quezon province on Thursday and Friday.
Suspects Lea Mayao, 39; Micah Zyra Roxas; and Joefrey Genove, 22, were collared after they sold “shabu (crystal meth) to a police agent and a civilian informant in Barangay Pahinga Norte, Candelaria around 2:30 a.m. Friday., Colonel Audie Madrideo, Quezon police chief,
said in a report.
Police seized two plastic sachets of shabu.
Erwin Mendiola, 42, was nabbed by anti-illegal drug operatives in another drug sting in Barangay Comon in Infanta town at 6:10 p.m. Thursday.
The suspect yielded two plastic sachets of shabu worth P14,000.
Police also busted Jayson Gapangada, 36, in a sting operation in Tiaong town at 4:10 p.m. Seized were six plastic sachets of shabu worth P9,180.
