PUP-Sta. Mesa suspends afternoon classes, work

MANILA, Philippines — Afternoon classes and work at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) in Sta. Mesa, Manila, on Thursday was suspended due to power interruption.
The suspension of classes and work beginning 12 noon was announced by PUP in its Twitter account.
ANNOUNCEMENT: Please be informed that work and classes in all levels in PUP STA. MESA including NDC and Del Pilar Campuses (COC, CEA, Institute of Technology, GS and CTHTM) are suspended starting 12nn today, January 16, 2020 (Thursday) due to power interruption.

The reason for the power interruption was not immediately disclosed by the university.
