Ursula entered PAR two days before Christmas Day and has forced out 12,139 families of 45,757 persons out of their homes in 340 villages in Mimaropa, Bicol, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, and Caraga.
Over 20 people were killed during Ursula’s onslaught, the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) earlier said.
Ursula, likely the last tropical cyclone to hit the country this year, also prompted the cancelation of dozens of flights and stranded passengers at ports.
