TALISAY SHOOTING

A 36-YEAR-OLD man was shot dead by his neighbor last Friday evening in barangay Bulacao, Talisay City, Cebu.

Ian Paul Jamili was brought to Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu City where he was  declared already dead by doctors.

Jamili was in his Internet café when his 22-year-old neighbor, Dave Toncinco, asked to speak with him outside.

Jamili was shot in the forehead and slumped on the ground.

ALOGUINSAN TOWN ROBBERY

An armed motorcycle-riding man held up a 51-year-old woman in Aloguinsan town, western Cebu, last Friday afternoon.

The robber fled with Maria Victoria dela Cerna’s gold necklace worth P6,000 and a belt bag with  P6,930 in cash.

Dela Cerna reported the holdup to the police, who arrested the suspect, Rey Rosales, in one of the checkpoints in barangay Poblacion.

Police  recovered the stolen items and confiscated Rosales’  Honda Wave motorcycle and  a .357 Magnum revolver with six  bullets.
