LIST: Canceled flights on Dec. 25 due to Ursula
MANILA, Philippines — Inclement weather has prompted the cancellation of local flights scheduled for Wednesday, Christmas Day.
In separate advisories, Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, Cebgo, and Air Asia said they are aborting domestic flights as Severe Tropical Storm Ursula threatens parts of Luzon as well as the Visayas.

Affected passengers of Cebu Pacific are advised to either rebook flights within 30 days without penalties, refund tickets in full, or store the value of the ticket in a Travel Fund for future use.
“We urge passengers on flights that have already been canceled to check for updates through the contact details provided, and refrain from proceeding to the airport,” it said.

Earlier, several domestic flights scheduled for Tuesday, Christmas Eve, were also canceled because of Ursula.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) earlier said Ursula (international name: Phanfone) continuously gathers strength as it approaches Eastern Visayas.

It said Ursula is anticipated to hit land over Eastern Samar on Tuesday, Christmas Eve.
Based on Pagasa’s 11 a.m. weather update, Ursula was moving west at 20 kilometers per hour as it was spotted 185 kilometers (km) east of Guiuian, Eastern Samar, packing maximum sustained winds of 100 kph and gusts of up to 135 kph.
