Caloocan City employees get 14th month pay
What a way to end the year.
Employees at the Caloocan City Hall have a reason to be ecstatic this 2012 after the local government released their third bonus for the year.
Only recently, Mayor Enrico Echiverri ordered that the 14th month payment of around 2,000 employees be given as “reward” for their “tireless effort” in “rendering public service.”
This is the second year the employees will be receiving the financial incentive. Last year, Echiverri initiated the move in a bid to inspire employees of more than 10 departments to give it their best in the performance of their duties.
“It is only fitting that we give a bonus to our … city hall employees …,” the mayor explained.
Only recently, the mayor also ordered the release of the 13th month pay of the same workers.
