LUCENA CITY –– A teacher died when she fell off a motorcycle traveling the ecotourism road in Sariaya town in Quezon province on Thursday night, police said Friday.

Sariaya police reported that Julia Jimenez, 25, was on a motorcycle with Alvin Jimenez, 28, traversing the ecotourism road in Barangay Talaan Aplaya around 12:30 p.m.

The report said the Lucena-bound motorcycle rider tried to evade collision with an incoming mini-tanker with a black tractor head which swerved and occupied the opposite lane.
