Nanny allegedly kidnaps baby in Taguig; family cries for help

MANILA, Philippines — A five-month-old baby was kidnapped by her nanny in Taguig, police said Thursday.

The Taguig City Police Women and Children’s Protection Unit identified the suspect as Kristine Joy Salik, 34.

According to the family, the baby was last seen with  Salik inside their home on Wednesday afternoon.

The baby’s father said he woke up and noticed that both the baby and Salik were missing.

Police appealed to the public to call through 398-6682 of Taguig Police Station for any information about the suspect.
