Xavier University grad tops Oct. 2019 psychologist licensure exam

MANILA, Philippines — A Xavier University graduate garnered the highest score among the 205 passers of the October 2019 Psychologist licensure examinations, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday.

Mary Christine Arreza Odtojan topped the licensure examination with a rating of 85.10%,  followed by Mary Grace Antonio Ang from the University of the Cordilleras with a rating of 84.80%

Jet Uy Buenconsejo of the Ateneo de Manila University placed third with a rating of 84.75%.

The other top 10 passers are: Elaine Fatima Acosta Simon (University of Santo Tomas) 84.60%, Mahjalin Araiza Sagala Bugtong (De La Salle University-Manila)  84.35%, Diana Cecilia Patagoc Estrada (University of San Carlos) 83.60%, Christine Joy Carlo Lim (University of the Philippines-Diliman) 83.50%, Silvino Payo Josol, Jr. (San Pedro College-Davao City) 83.45%, Kimberly Jane Manalac Du (Dela Salle University-Manila) 83.35% and Jeric Calibuyot Manalili (Holy Angel University) 83.30%

A total of 285 examinees took the licensure examination last Oct. 27 and 28 this year. 

PRC said the schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for Psychology passers will be from Nov. 20 to 29 and Dec. 2 to 6. /gsg
