Punta Princesa Elementary School secures girls crown in Sinulog Cup

THE PUNTA PRINCESA Elementary School girls team was crowned as baseball champions in this year’s Sinulog Softball and Baseball Cup at the Labangon Elementary School last Friday.

Punta Princesa’s elementary girls team edged Compostela Elementary school in the championship round to retain its title.

Punta Princesa’s secondary division girls team also emerged victorious as it topped the softball tournament and successfully defended its title against Bonbon High School.

However, Punta Princesa was not able to sweep the tournament  after its boys elementary baseball squad bowed to the visiting Carmen Elementary School in the finals.

Meanwhile, Paknaan Elementary School won the T-Ball division, which is for players aged 5 to 10 years old.  The Abellana National School softball team dominated the women’s open division, beating the NCC Bogo City.
