MANILA, Philippines — San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora announced Wednesday that the city has scored 100 percent in the road-clearing drive spearheaded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

“I am happy to announce that San Juan got a 100 percent score during the evaluation of the DILG,” Zamora said in an interview with ABS-CBN News Channel.

“Aside from us monitoring, enforcing, sustaining, our own constituents must really see the value of following rules and regulations,” he added.

But in a text message to INQUIRER.net, DILG spokesperson Jonathan Malaya refused to confirm San Juan’s perfect rating,  saying that Interior Secretary Eduardo Año would announce the results of the road clearing drive based on the department’s evaluation of reports submitted by local government units (LGUs) nationwide.
