Two men trapped in quarry site in Argao town

TWO men were trapped when a part of a limestone quarry site collapsed in sitio Tungkop, Calagasan, Argao town in southern Cebu yesterday.

Rescue efforts got underway as Argao Mayor Edcel Galeos sent heavy equipment to the accident site, about 15 kilometers from the poblacion.

The workers were identified as Nelson Pantujan and Nitoy Alforque.

A team of policemen was also sent to assist rescue efforts, said PO1 Bernard Banogon of the Argao Police Station.
