TUGUEGARAO CITY–The body of a 22-year-old man, believed to be that of a motorcycle rider who met an accident days ago, had been found by villagers in an advanced state of decomposition at a ravine in Cagayan province.

Foul smell coming from the grassy ravine led to the discovery of the remains of Eddie Bilag, resident of Amulung town, who had been seen in a motorcycle accident days earlier.

Capt. Sharon Malillin, Cagayan police spokesperson, said Bilag was believed to be the motorcylist who hit a tree while on his way to meet relatives and join a drag racing with friends in the town of Lal-lo. Villamor Visaya Jr./TSB
