7 dead, 60 injured in Colombia oil pipeline blast, says mayor
BOGOTA – At least seven people were killed and 60 others were hurt by an explosion overnight at an oil pipeline in western Colombia, Dosquebradas Mayor Luz Ensueno Betancur said Friday.
The accident could be linked to fuel theft, Betancur told Caracol Radio in confirming the toll. Investigators are working to determine the cause of the blast.
