Salesman robbed in Mandaue

A salesman reported to the police that he was robbed at gunpoint in barangay Canduman, Mandaue City.

Roderick Marimon, 31, salesman of Nestle Philippines, told police that P20,000 cash in collection money and a cellular phone worth P7,000 were taken from him during the robbery.

The robbery occurred while Marimon was delivering goods in a store in Zone 1 around 2 p.m. last Tuesday.

Marimon said his truck boy was unloading goods while he was preparing a list in the driver’s seat when a man wearing a helmet suddenly opened the truck’s door, pointed a gun at him and declared a holdup.
