MANILA, Philippines—McDonald’s Philippines announced on Wednesday that its stores in Metro Manila, Luzon, Cebu, Bacolod, and Davao will be accepting donations for Tropical Storm “Sendong” survivors.

In a press statement, the fast-food giant said it will continue to gather donations in kind for the storm’s victims until January 4 next year.

According to McDonald’s, the donations will be turned over to local government units and the Kapuso Foundation for distribution to families affected by Sendong in the cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan.

McDonald’s added it would provide evacuees with hamburgers, buns, and bottled water, as well as Happy Meal toys to children in Macasandig village, one of the most devastated areas in Cagayan de Oro.
