MANILA, Philippines—Asia Brewery sent 350,000 bottles of Absolute Pure Distilled Drinking Water to disaster areas where Typhoon Sendong has left so many in dire need of potable water.

With logistics partners Philippine Airlines and Airphil Express, at least 50,000 bottles will be sent by air to Cagayan de Oro City for immediate deployment. The 300,000 bottles meanwhile will be sent by sea to ABI marketing arms for distribution to other rescue and relief groups. Two Aguavida mobile water refilling station trucks are also on the way.  Those in need may contact CDO and Iligan offices.

“As the flag carrier, Philippine Airlines is one in grieving with the nation for all those affected by the severe flooding.  PAL is providing as much resources to help our brothers and sisters in Mindanao, but we know this will never be enough given the enormity of the crisis.  We are praying and hoping for the best,” said Vivienne Tan, EVP of Philippine Airlines.
