Suspected drug pusher dead in Batangas
SAN PEDRO CITY — A suspected illegal drug pusher was killed in a buy-bust operation in Ibaan town in Batangas province, police said Monday.
A report from the Batangas police said the buy-bust was conducted around 11:40 p.m. Sunday in Barangay (village) Talaibon against Christian Borja.
It said police had already seized Borja but the suspect resisted arrest and fired shots. A police back up team shot back and hit Borja multiple times. He died while being taken to the Queen Mary Hospital.
Authorities recovered two sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) and a .38 caliber gun. /je
