Albayalde leads crackdown on PCSO gaming activities in Baguio City
BAGUIO CITY –– Philippine National Police chief Gen. Oscar Albayalde on Saturday led local authorities here in shutting down lotto outlets and other gaming activities under the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
Albayalde went around the city hours after President Duterte ordered the stoppage of all PCSO gaming outlets nationwide due to alleged massive corruption in the agency.
The PNP chief was assisted by Police Col. Allen Rae Co, acting city director, in ensuring that no PCSO gaming outlets in this summer capital will continue operating.
Duterte’s order includes PCSO’s Lotto, Small Town Lottery and Peryahan ng Bayan. /lb
