Water level in Angat Dam slightly goes up

MANILA, Philippines — The water level in Angat Dam slightly went up on Saturday morning, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

According to Pagasa, water level at the dam was reported at 161.46 meters as of 6:00 a.m., 0.24 meters higher than the 161.22 meter-water level reported on Friday morning.

Angat Dam serves as Metro Manila’s main water source.

Water levels at the La Mesa Dam, Ambuklao Dam, San Roque Dam, Pantabangan Dam, and Magat Dam have also went up, Pagasa said.

Meanwhile, the water levels in Ipo Dam, Binga Dam, and Caliraya Dam have slightly lowered.  /muf
