Pagasa’s Sunday weather forecast: Cloudy skies, with rain showers
MANILA, Philippines – The trough or extension of a lower pressure area (LPA) will affect a large portion of the country on Sunday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, Pagasa said that Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol region, Visayas, and Mindanao areas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
Pagasa warned of possible flash floods and landslides in affected areas.
The rest of Luzon, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. /gsg
