DID YOU KNOW: MMDA assisted 1,723 accident victims in 2018

According to the recent annual report of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, its Road Emergency Group assisted 2,618 accident victims in 2018, of whom 1,723 were endorsed to hospitals for further treatment.

The group also gave first aid treatment to 211 walk-in patients while 117 patients were provided with ambulance conduction. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
