A burglary suspect in Miami, United States cleared the court after he defecated then threw his excrement at the judge.

Dorleans Philidor, 33, cast his own feces at Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Lisa Walsh just as closing arguments were about to begin, as reported by Miami Herald last Friday, June 21. Lawyers hurried out of the courtroom as local authorities went inside to keep Philidor under control.

According to witnesses, the defendant screamed, “It’s protein, it’s good for you” as he hurled his feces at the judge. They said he also ate some of his feces.

“It was intense. The corrections officers and police officers were swarming. Like 60 of them,” witness Allen Rios was quoted as saying. “They told everyone to leave and you couldn’t go back in. It was a hazardous area.”

As the courtroom was shut down for cleaning, Walsh moved the closing arguments to a different courtroom, spokeswoman Eunice Sigler said.

Philidor was later acquitted of the burglary case, where he was accused of breaking into a North Miami Beach home. However, he cannot be released yet since he is facing another case for theft.

This was the second time the defendant’s behavior delayed a trial, the report said. When the court called for a lunch break on June 20, he defecated on himself and smeared his body with his own feces in a holding cell. After the incident, a doctor was brought in to evaluate if Philidor was faking a mental illness.
