Magnitude 3.0 earthquake shakes Eastern Samar
MANILA, Philippines – A magnitude 3.0 earthquake shook parts of Eastern Samar Tuesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
In its earthquake bulletin, Phivolcs reported that the temblor struck 22 kilometers (km) northeast of Lawaan, Eastern Samar at 5:26a.m.

It was felt at Intensity II in Borongan City.
The quake of tectonic origin had a depth of 24 km.
