DID YOU KNOW: Metro Manila has 10% of dengue cases

Metro Manila accounted for 10 percent or 3,821 of the 36,664 dengue cases reported nationwide from Jan. 1 to Feb. 23 this year, the Department of Health said.

It was the region with the third highest number of reported cases during the period, after Central Visayas with 4,089 cases and Caraga with 3,876 cases.

There were 14 deaths due to dengue in Metro Manila. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
