Bohol police identifies dead man found along national highway

TAGBILARAN CITY, Philippines — The dead man who was found along the national highway in Balilihan town on Friday, June 7, has finally been identified.

Police Captain John Lynbert Yango, chief of Balilihan Police said they were able to identify Regino Laudiana, Jr. through a tattoo in his body.

“His name was inscribed on his back,” Yango said.

Laudiana, Jr., 24, was a resident of Calceta Street, Barangay Cogon, Tagbilaran City.

He suffered gunshot wounds on the head.

Based on records at the Tagbilaran Police Station, Yango said Laudiana was a suspect of a car theft incident last May 26, 2019. He was also involved in a robbery case in Trinidad town in 2013.

In 2014, Laudiana was also arrested for illegal possession of firearms and illegal drugs by the Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) of the Bohol police. (Editor: Mike U. Frialde)
