High-value drug suspect, 6 others nabbed in Cagayan Valley
TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Philippines — A drug suspect listed as a high-value target in Cagayan Valley and six others were arrested in a series of police operations on Saturday.
Lt. Col. Chevalier Iringan, the spokesperson of the Cagayan Police Regional Office, identified the suspect as 35-year-old Franklin Salvador Baggay, alias Pangki, who is listed as number eight in the regional watch list of drug suspects.
Seized from Baggay was a sachet of crystal meth, locally known as shabu, and the P1,000 marked money used in the buy-bust operation carried out by agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and local police in Don Francisco Village, Sagana, Santiago City.
Baggay’s brother, 37-year-old Mariano, was also arrested during the operation.
In separate anti-drugs operations in the region, police arrested five other drug suspects identified as Jeffrey Amin, Randy Yasay, Elimar Aboc, Marilyn Valdez, and Arnold Quintos alias Samson.
