‘Bikoy’ a no-show at DOJ for preliminary probe on estafa case
MANILA, Philippines —Peter Joemel Advincula who claims to be “Bikoy” of the narcolist video series was a no show at the Department of Justice (DOJ) for the preliminary investigation Tuesday on the estafa case filed against him for organizing a beauty pageant where he later allegedly disappeared without giving the prizes for the winners and wages for the staff.
Advincula was last seen in Camp Crame where he held a press conference saying the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” series of videos that accuses the immediate family of the President and his close allies as involved in illegal drug activities were not true.
Advincula also identified some members of the opposition who allegedly hired him to make the video and promised to pay him P500, 000.
In a complaint filed against him at the DOJ, Arven E. Valmores of Ardeur World Marketing said his company was used for the beauty pageant that Advincula has organized in 2018.
He said Advincula hired a production director and staff for the pageant, “Miss Scenti Essencia Ambassadress 2018” which was completed on Aug. 11, 2018.

Valmores’ counsel, Atty. Benjamin De los Santos said Advincula or his representative have failed to appear during Tuesday’s preliminary investigation despite receipt of copies of the complaint and the subpoena in his last known address in Barangay Tupas, Donsol in Sorsogon.
Following the rules, De los Santos said “he [Advincula] should respond [to the complaint] within 15 days.”
“If he does not show up, the prosecution will resolve the complaint based on the evidence that we have presented,” he added. (Editor: Mike U. Frialde)
