Most parts of PH to have cloudy skies and light rain on Sunday — Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — Most parts of the country will experience cloudy skies and light rains on Sunday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, Pagasa said the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshower and thunderstorms.
This is due to southwesterlies or winds blowing from the southwest section of the country. Pagasa also said that possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Caraga and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshower and thunderstorms caused by the low pressure area (LPA)
Pagasa said that as of 2 a.m., the LPA was last spotted at 400 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.
